The Pipeline Mosque in Serekunda catches fire

Serekunda’s Pipeline Mosque on fire

A fire broke out in a mosque in the city of Serekunda, which is located in Gambia, in the early hours of Saturday morning, July 9th, 2022.

The mosque was completely consumed by fire in less than ten minutes after the fire broke out. The town of Serekunda worked together to put out the fire, and thank God no one was wounded in the process.

It was not immediately clear what started the fire that broke out on Saturday at the Pipeline Mosque in Serekunda, which is the largest mosque in The Gambia’s largest town.
