Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0 at the Stade de France in Paris to win the Champions League.

While Real Madrid won their 14th European championship, the game will be remembered for the chaos that led it to be delayed by 36 minutes.
There were scary pictures of overcrowding online when Liverpool fans were stuck in long lines before UEFA’s main event. Police used tear gas and pepper spray to control the crowds.
The Reds controlled the first half despite the fact that some fans were still stranded outside the stadium when the game finally started.
The video assistant referee took a significant amount of time to review Karim Benzema’s goal, but in the end, Vinicius scored the game-winning goal in the second half.
