Paul Kagame issues deportation orders for 18 Chinese

President Paul Kagame has ordered the immediate removal of 18 Chinese nationals from Rwanda.

The immediate expulsion of 18 Chinese nationals has been ordered by the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. “The 18 investors were found guilty of mistreating Rwandan workers and grubbing land on which they operated their business.” President Kagame said

Why did Paul Kagame issue deportation orders for the 18 Chinese?

Chinese investors took advantage of the people of Rwanda by making them work long hours like slaves and taking advantage of the fact that they were poor.

“Africa is for Africans.” We can’t be slaves in Africa. We don’t tolerate the nonsense of discrimination here. Kagame added

“Rwanda is for Africans and those who mean well for us. I am directing the 18 Chinese investors to leave Rwanda immediately and must never return. Rwandan people must enjoy their rights in their country. Let this be a lesson to the remaining Chinese investors”
