Safety Concerns in Pamplona

Spain: A renowned online influencer, IShowSpeed, has been extracted from the Pamplona bull run for safety concerns. The Foral Police intervened to prevent overcrowding as he was trailed by approximately 100 runners.

The Incident Unfolds

Speed, who boasts over 20 million Instagram followers, was asked by the authorities to leave the event. His participation created a significant commotion, with footage showing him conversing with officers. Adding to the controversy, Speed’s cameraman, Slipz, expressed frustration on social media, criticizing the police’s handling of the situation. Slipz stated, “Speed himself wanted to do the bull run. There is no ‘contact’. There is nothing but show up and run. We get there and police shut it down. You guys have no clue how the real world works sometimes. You’re seeing a few fan perspectives and running with a narrative that you want to cause turmoil in this community. Police targeted him. They targeted all of our crew. You think security wasn’t trying to get in there and I wasn’t trying to get in there? We got told no. Speed still tried. Then once he was in, the police once again targeted him and almost even took his phone meanwhile everyone around him is filming him. And then comm blames us. Blame the local police.”
