Chinese child exploiter arrested in Zambia after he fled Malawi

A Chinese exploiter of Malawian children was arrested in Zambia.

A Chinese person who is wanted by Malawian police for filming Malawian children in Lilongwe and selling the degrading videos of them to a Chinese website was found guilty and fined for illegally entering and staying in Zambia.

Lu Ke left Malawi after a special investigation by the BBC found that he pretended to teach the kids Chinese while taking advantage of them.

A source says that Lu Ke was taken into custody on Monday in the Chipata district in the eastern part of Zambia.

According to the BBC, he was selling the videos for up to $70 each to a Chinese website while only paying the Malawian children 50 cents.

The Malawian government is working with its partners in Zambia to bring the suspect back to Malawi so that Lu Ke face more legal charges there.
