14 killed in Soweto tavern shooting
Tavern shooting in Soweto claims the lives of 14 people.
Early on Sunday morning, there was a shooting at a pub in Soweto, South Africa, that resulted in the deaths of 14 individuals. A total of ten more people with multiple injuries were admitted to the medical facility.
After midnight, Elias Mawela, the Commissioner of Police for the Gauteng region, acknowledged that the shooting took place at the Nomzamo Park pub.
He stated that the preliminary investigations suggested that customers were having a good time in the tavern when the gunman entered and began shooting at them at random.
